Wasilla, AK – February 10, 2023 – Briar Rose Assisted Living will celebrate the grand opening of its first residence in Alaska. Briar Rose Assisted Living – 174 W Spruce Avenue – on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, from 3-6 p.m. Briar Rose Owner, Varun Patel, will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside current residents and staff 4 p.m. “We are excited for the grand opening of our first assisted living
residence in Alaska, and we are looking forward to joining the local healthcare community in serving the senior population in Wasilla and surrounding areas. We feel privileged to be setting a new bar in quality care for seniors affected by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia,” said Patel.

Briar Rose is a recently remodeled 4400 square foot, 10 bedroom assisted living home that will serve many underserved members of our community. Briar Rose accepts IDD, CCMC and ALI Waivers and is currently an all-female residence. Influenced and refined by over 20 years of operational experience, the residence is thoughtfully designed to enhance residents’ cognition and quality of life by creating a home environment that is both nurturing and comfortable. The design features include family gathering spaces, residential finishes, and the use of themes for queuing and location recognition.
